There is a Heritage Volunteers
Group. An ongoing activity of many years is the cleaning of silver and silver gilt at the Royal Pavilion, with an eight-strong team
who meet fortnightly on a rota basis. They have also been involved with the cleaning of silver artefacts at the University of Sussex
and the Civic silver kept in Brighton Town Hall. On an occasional basis heritage activities can, and do, also take place , including
recording of documents, guiding and stewarding by members who volunteer to take part following requests for help from both national
and local bodies.
